Mandan Special Olympics Will Lead 4th of July Parade
The Mandan Independence Day Parade Committee has chosen its grand marshals for this year, and they won`t all fit on the back of a convertible.
This year`s theme is "Stars On the Prairie" so it`s only fitting members of the Mandan Special Olympics should lead the parade.
Stars will shine in Mandan on July 4th
The Mandan Independence Day Parade and Street Festival Committee expects many "stars" at this years parade. The 2011 theme is "Stars on the Prairie." People are encouraged to dress as their favorite actor, actress, musician, politician or historical figure states event Co-Chairperson Dennis Friesz. Bring your camera as everyone will have a reason to snap a few photographs.
